The mystery of fibromyalgia is finally solved! Please share this information with everyone you know!

For many years, fibromyalgia patients have suffered inexplicable pain, which many doctors believed was simply psychological or “in their heads” and the mystery of fibromyalgia resolved.

Now, the victims of fibromyalgia are validated. The researchers isolated the main source of pain in these patients in the unlikely places – excess blood vessels in the hand.
These excess blood vessels are a special type of nerve fibers called arteriole-place (AV) shunts. The thestudy researchers, published in the pain medicine journal, examined the skin on the hand of a patient who had a lack of sensory nerve fibers, thus causing a reduced reaction to pain. Then they examined the skin samples from the hands of other fibromyalgia patients and found an excessive amount of av shunts.

Until then, AV shunt fibers were only considered to be responsible for regulating blood flow. Now, it has been discovered that there is a direct trail between these nerves and whole body pain that many patients suffer from fibromyalgia, so now we can tell the mystery of fibromyalgia solved.

Says Dr. Frank L. Rice, neuroscientist,

We have already thought that these nerve endings have only been involved in regulating blood flow on a subconscious level yet here we see evidence that the terminations of blood vessels could also contribute to our conscious sense of touch … and also pain. This poorly managed blood circulation could be the source of muscle aches and achiness and the feeling of fatigue that are supposed to be due to lactic acid buildup and low levels of fibromyalgia inflammation [in] patients. This, in turn, could contribute to hyperactivity in the brain.

This discovery could lead to future effective treatments for the disease, as current treatments such as narcotic pain medication, anti-epileptic drugs and anti-depressants have failed to bring relief to millions of patients.

In addition, this breakthrough could lead to the resolution of other lingering issues surrounding this mysterious disease, such as debilitating fatigue, extreme pain in the hands and other specific points in the body, as well as why the cold weather seems to be aggravate the symptoms.
